HOW CAN YOU USE THIS RESOURCE: This simple tool helps monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) staff, program officers, and researchers at NGOs and CSOs evaluate the quality of program assessments, even without specialist M&E knowledge. It’s ideal for commissioning or reviewing evaluations to ensure they align with CLD principles and provide rigorous insights.

OVERVIEW: The Quality Appraisal Tool helps assess whether evaluations are rigorous and aligned with Community-Led Development principles. It’s designed for use by M&E, learning, and program staff and is available in Excel format. Available in English and French.
